3D Scanning

SPECIALTY SERVICES AND PRODUCTS, LLC

3D scanning technology has revolutionized various industries by providing a versatile and efficient way to capture the physical world in digital form. Physical objects, like machine parts, can be scanned and converted into usable CAD. We can also scan in color, for example, to preserve rare artifacts in digital form.  Humans can also be scanned, in color!  This technology has numerous applications and benefits that enhance productivity, precision, and creativity in diverse fields, like medical for instance. We 3D printed the brain in this video from a scan that we did of a real human brain.  This was probably our most interesting scanning project to date.  Other fields that have found scanning beneficial include archaeology, art, video game design, and all areas of industrial manufacturing.
