We can rotationally mold parts up to approximately 2x2x2 feet in size, in just about any color, and we offer a wide range of hardness options. We also offer some very unique specialty materials.
Rotational molding offers several distinct advantages, including:
• Durability: It is resistant to abrasion and wear, making it suitable for high-stress environments.
• Hardness Range: This specialty polyurethane material can be formulated to be either rigid or flexible, depending on the application needs. From shore 40A, like a standard pencil eraser, up to 75D, as hard as a bowling ball.
• Chemical Resistance: Withstands exposure to oils, solvents, and other chemicals.
• Impact Resistance: It absorbs shocks and impacts, providing protection in areas where damage prevention is crucial.
• Customization: Color, hardness, and other properties can be customized to fit specific requirements.
• Rotationally molded parts can be filled with other lightweight materials to achieve different effects.
• We also offer some modified gypsum materials for casting items like sculptures, and environmental or architectural elements. These materials cure very hard and are water resistant. They can also be sanded, painted and machined, and have a flame rating of UL-94V-O / ASTM E-84 - Class A.
• The most interesting rotational molding material that we offer is plastic breakaway glass. It is specially formulated to shatter convincingly on impact, perfect for dramatic effects in movies and live performances. We can mold this material into virtually any shape, including bottles, bowls, plates, or vases.
